Why

The word "why" circles around my head throughout my time travel on this trip. I wonder why did this country even got to the point where there is a need for a civil rights movement. While listening to civil rights activist Andrew Young, I realized that not everything was a black and white problem but most things were Issues because of economic issues. Coming from Baltimore City i feel as though hate is an issue and most of the hate that I see comes from black on black crimes. Most of the reasons for these crimes are because of both participants in the crime are both economically challenged. But after all of this I still wonder why does this country allow this to happen? This is just one of my questions, but I am thankful to be able to have the opportunity to ponder these questions I have.
