A state of confusion

Today meeting Rosco Jones was amazing! He has been my favorite speaker so far. He gave us the truth and I don't feel like he sugarcoated anything. He was funny but serious also. I felt that he has been the most inspirational. I like his view on how he explained the moment was about the teenagers and how he felt like the youth don't and didn't get recognition. I'm glad he touched on that because I feel the same way. I feel like yes MLK and others did have a big impact on the movement but they weren't the only ones. Martin Luther King Jr. has many statues all over but you don't see the many “foot soldiers” honored for what they did and everyday citizens who sacrificed so much. I’m so grateful to have point of views from people that was actually there in the movement or I would have never knew any of these things. Things we've learned so far really put you in a state of confusion of what can I do and I'm thankful for that.
