New era of equality

"One Down Eight To Go"- Why would a human being have so much hatred towards another human being? Because our skin color is different? NO! NO! NO! That's the most pathetic answer ever. If your blood is red and my blood is red than we are equal. Don't make a excuse about our skin. We are not ashamed because of your thoughts. Nine African-American students had ambitious and bravery. They have been waiting for this moment for years. Nothing will stop them. They left behind more than half a century of segregated education and entered a new era of equality. They paid a personal price for their belief in the U.S. Constitution, but their courageous demand for equal rights moved the nation farther along its path of democracy for all. The Little Rock Nine. A white man said " Let them try to get in... We'll Lynch them all.” Do you think that's going to stop them from achieving their goals? We have the power as much as they do. As you look around in our modern society, the struggle is still here today. There is a little desegregation. Think about it! Look at your neighbor and see if that person has the same background as you. If they do, then switch seats and mingle with others that are not like you. I will not force my people to integrate against their will, but I will fight to preserve the right guaranteed to the people.
