As a group we traveled to Money, Mississippi to visit the place where Emmett Till was seen at the store before he was abducted and killed. When looking around we saw a few places that still had evidence of that time period. We then went to visit a high school in Mississippi to see if it was any different from our schools. I actually didnt see any difference but only that it was more family orientated. Also I thought that they cared more for learning to understand instead of only learning to pass. We finally drove to Memphis, Tennessee and we visited a museum that was so interactive. It was the Loraine Motel Museum where MLK was killed. We also saw a lady who protested the museum because she thinks that it should be used to help people in need instead of making money off of people. To end the night we went to Beale St. and it was amazing. We visited a bunch of the stores there, took pictures, bought souvenirs and listened to great music.
