This
quote really stood out to me because I'm shy and when I feel strongly about a
certain thing I don't say anything. When I really think about it, I have missed
so many opportunities on speaking my mind. I have so many ideas about things. I
wouldn't say things no matter how different my opinion was or if anyone brought
the idea up or not. When I think back on it I should've stepped up on
conversations because I used to lose many participation points. Then days I
used to go home and regret things I didn't say. This makes me think about when
we met Roscoe Jones in Mississippi. He said "Any question you don't ask is
the only stupid question." This inspires me to speak up for myself and if
anyone ever says anything negative about what I say I will just think of Roscoe
Jones and his powerful words.

Keep on stepping forward! Don't ever worry about what others say or think about you. Everyone has a right to their own opinions. I agree with mr. Jones. If you speak up and ask a question you want to know the answer to, it could help someone who is too shy or afraid to ask.
